As an artist my goal is to reveal the magic of the moment, the extraordinary in the mundane and to create a sense of beauty and mystery. To achieve this end I employ a variety of techniques including textures, glazes, and impasto. My work reflects hints of impressionist and post impressionist influence as well as abstract expressionism. I experiment with color, texture and light and the impact it has on mood and interpretation. I attempt to provide enough complexity through texture, light or composition to encourage the viewer to return to the painting again and again, each time...
